CastlesCommarque was once a fortified town that suffered greatly during the religious wars. Four centuries ago, the last inhabitants moved away. What was left was a ruin, which over the last 50 years has been revealing its secrets little by little and now shows us how life was organized at that time. Best preserved is the castle itself, which is now being meticulously restored.
